Default 28" without rolling fenders?

Anyone get away with 28" tires and no rolling fenders? I had 27" tires on without a problem. Now I just put on 28" QTP's, same 11.5 width. They look alright but I'm worried adout them expanding at high speed. What's your experience with 28s?

not at all, just some BFH on the inside as always, but my car is on stock springs...

Same exact tires.. QTPs 28x11.5

I think it has to do more with backspace on the rims.. my bogarts are backspaced .5 inwards..

Mine have 5" back space on a 2.5" shortened axle each side. I'm also on stock springs. The fenders actually look like they have plenty of room. But there only looks like about a 1/2" clearance in the front and back(side skirt & rear bumper). I wonder how much these tires expand.
