Backspacing/offset question on skinnies
Backspacing/offset question on skinnies What is the proper backspacing/offset on 15 x 3.5 (or 15 x 4)skinnies for the front when using them with a 5/16 spacer only?
The reason I ask is because I was looking at some skinnies other than the normal Weld Draglites and Pro Stars (which I know DO fit) and they mostly come in a 1 5/8 backspacing as opposed to the Weld's 1 3/4 (aka: 1.75) and I was just wondering if a skinnie with the 1 5/8 offset would fit while using only the 5/16 spacers?
I know Bogarts and Center Line Convo Pros fit with no spacers at all but I'm not considering those at all.

Re: Backspacing/offset question on skinnies Cool thanks, but that's for the Bogarts in 15x4 that I think can be used WITHOUT a spacer....I will be using a spacer (5/16) and probably a 15x3.5 (although I was looking at a set of Center Line 15x4s as well) and was curious if the one's I've been seeing with a 1 5/8 (1.625) backspace will work or if 1 3/4 (1.75) is the only one that will work on a stock front hub/brake set up?
