On the MT site they say acctptable rim width is the width of the tread +/- 1 inch, so in the case of the tire i am looking at it has a tread width of 10.4 which gives me a good rim width ranging from 9.5-11.4. But then for that same tire it says that an approved rim is 7.5-9.5. WTF?? Someone clarify that for me please. Heres the link.
