Thoughts on my prostars
Thoughts on my prostars Ok, I've got a set of prostars and I'm not sure if I want to get some new rubber and mount them, or get a more "streetable" set of wheels. The reason I say this, is because my car ('99 formula) is mostly stock rite now.......
The prostars are 15x5 up front and 16x8 in the rear (yes they are 16's)
I just don't want to put a drag style wheel (fast) on a car that is mostly stock (slow). See what I'm sayin'?
What are you thoughts on my situation?

well 15x5s in the front kind of defeat the lightweight skinny point, and 16x8s also kind of defeat the purpose of a big drag tire in the back..so i would just sell them and get something else.
buy some fronts to match the backs and save the skinnys till you get some drag rims/tires for the back . this way you can daily drive without issue on 16x8 and when you go to the track just put on your track tires to help those times out .
