tire balancing question...

tire balancing question... I had my tires mounted and balanced today. I had them use stick on weights on the inside of the wheel. Each 275/40/17 tire took roughly 2 ounces to balance. Is that a lot? Does it take more weight to balance on the inside?
To answer your question simply, no, thats not alot of weight. In reality, the amount of weight to balance a tire really doesnt matter, as long as it balances out. It could take a pound, but as long it is applied in the right place, the car will ride smooth. If your having trouble with ride, its more than likely a out of round tire or wheel, or the combination of the 2. Get them road force balanced if thats the case.
