Default Ruff 278's installed!!

Finally got me a set of Ruff Racing 278's. These are 18x8.5/9.5 staggered, graphite painted (they call it Hyperblack) centers with polished lip.

I threw them on yesterday, but didn't get a chance for good pics until this evening. Enjoy.

I was just looking at these rims and wandering what size tires are you running? Also does the 35 offset work alright?

275/35ZR18 (i'm going to be switching to 265/35 front and 295/35 rear in about a month, 275s are just a hair too wide for the front wheel for my taste)

The 35mm offset is perfect up front for the 8.5" wheel. You couldn't go any further though. 45mm in the rear looks very aggressive. I didn't roll the fender because i'm not that low. It's really borderline...with lower springs I would definitely have rolled it just to be safe. I already accidentally tested the clearance...hit a ledge from a newly paved road (I was going from a just prepped road to a newly paved one...looked like about a 3" jump) at about 40mph, and the tires never touched anything.

nice upgrade. Looks similar to the ccw 505. Wish they made these wider than 9.5 though!

Looks nice. I went to order the same wheel in black and was told the 18x9.5 wouldn't fit in the rear so I would have to upgrade to the 19" so I said forget it.

You have to make sure it's 18x9.5 with a 45mm offset. That's the only 18" size that fits without modification. That's what I have and it's perfect. Going to 19" won't make a difference.

I actually have a set of rears for sale because I originally wanted to have 9.5" width all the way around, however the 9.5's don't fit the front because of the spoke design. They won't clear our front calipers. Plus they have a near 4" lip and that would look really strange on the front anyway. If anyone here is interested, PM me about them. I have a thread up in the FS section too.

They offer Black and Hyperblack (graphite) with polished lip, or chrome. The chrome wheels are what got me interested in these because they look exactly like CCW 505a's on a T/A.
