Weld backspacing
A friend of mine has some 15x8 Weld Superlites and the backspacing is 4.5". I know we need 5.5 for our cars. My question is will these work on the car and how bad will they look or stick out.
They have brand new (100 miles/no burnouts) 275/50/15 MT drag radials on them and the fronts are 15x4 with brand new 26x7.5 MT Sportsmans. He is only wanting $500 for everything including lugs and caps.
Any help is appreciated

My question is will these stick to far out since they have 4.5"???
Had to go to the local auto store and find some wheel studs that were an inch longer that did notcost that much .
Though for $30 you can buy some ARP extended wheel studs from 2 1/2 inch all the way to 3 1/2 that are really strong . Then you could run whatever spacer that will enable you to get them to fit without grinding the brakes to bad if any .

I would assume that it would stick out the inch. I'd just do like others suggested. I put draglites on mine and I had to grind for quite a while to get them to fit.
