Talking HyperBlack or Chrome on a silver Camaro

I'm trying to decide on a set of Ruff Racing 278's or 279's but can't decide what would look better, the hyperblack or chrome on a silver 02 Z with the ground appearance package. Input would be appreciated!
278 Chrome: http://www.directwheelsandtires.com/...ng-278-77.html
278 HyperBlack: http://www.directwheelsandtires.com/...ng-278-78.html
279 HyperBlack: http://www.directwheelsandtires.com/...ng-279-82.html
279 Chrome: http://www.directwheelsandtires.com/...ng-279-81.html

These would be 18X8.5 front and 18X9.5 in the rear!

Actually I would have chosen black. I like those on lighter cars. On darker cars the Hyperblack looks best and on black cars i could go either hyperblack (like i did) or chrome. Given the two choices you gave, i'd go with hyperblack.

Do you guys think the 18X8.5 on the front and the 19X9.5 in the rear would look alright? I'm going to try to photoshop the 4 options and post them tonight. Thanks for the inputs...keep them coming.

Go with the 278s in hyperblack and call me over to check it out. Also, personally I'm not a fan of staggered wheels on the f-body.

You cant go wrong, I think on a silver camaro either one would look good. Good luck on deciding which one.

Okay before I order, anyone have any pics with these 4 different styles that can help me better visualize the outcome? I'm trying with photoshop but can't find the right picture to throw in there.

Thanks!

Blakbird24 Did you end up getting 18's up front and 19's in the rear or 18's all the way around? They look good!

18x8.5 front, 18x9.5 rear. I wanted 18x9.5 up front too, but the only offset that will fit is the 35mm which makes it stick out past the fender. Not for me thank you. Plus even the 35mm version will not allow for C5 brakes, which are a must for me.

So whatever you do in the back, I highly recommend the 8.5" (35mm) width in the front.

Another vote for the Hyper Black. You will love the 278s in whatever set-up you get. Like Blackbird24 said though you will need to run the 8.5 in the front whatever you go with for brake clearance if you want big brakes.
