Default Breaking in tires . . . .

Going to have new back tires put on the Z28 tommorrow. Old ones have worn out three times faster than the front ones for some strange reason.

Do tires have a break-in period? Last time I was there, the techs were egging me on to give them a nice smoke show when I left.

break in? don't think so. I like leaving the stickers on and burning off at the first chance I get.

No break in needed for tires. Just slap them on and start burning.

Where's that smokey tire smiley when you need it?

I break mine in every time I pull out of the driveway. The kooky lady next to us hates it so I guess its a good thing I'm on good terms with the state cop across the street

Gave them a little bit of a smokeshow when I left.

Last night I did a few donuts and actually burned the left rear tire down to the cords. Had to cut off some of the strings so they wouldn't slap the fender.

You burned the new tire down to chords the first night you got them???

What kind of tires were they, and how many burnouts did you do?

I am pretty sure he meant his old ones

He would probably be more upset if he went through a set of tires in 1 day...
