Help finding tires for a 63 Buick

Help finding tires for a 63 Buick The car is a 1963 Buick Special. I'm having a really hard time finding tires for it.
The tires I pulled off were 6.00-15. I don't know if that is helpful or not because it sure hasn't helped me at all. I took a ruler/tape measurer to the tires and the tread width was about 125mm and the height was about 25.5 inches.
The wheels are 15's. I'm not 100% sure on how to measure width, but if I take the tape measure from the two outside edges of the wheel it measures 5 inches and from the two inside edges about 4.5 inches.
If anyone knows of any tires that will fit it'd be great. Also, if there is some selection of tires out there that will fit, I want something sticky because they're so skinny. If there's any more info needed that I missed just tell me and thanks for any help.

more importantly, measure the RIM size because they dont size tires like that but im guessing they are 15x6's in which case stock your limited to about a 205/65/15... and i doubt youll find anything sticky in that size.. are you looking for a new type of tire or something older looking.

yes i just checked and they are 6 inches wide thats what the 6.0 means and 25.5 in tall is the same as our fbodys.. youll want a 205/65/15 for that and you have about a million to choose from with the stickiest(although not very sticky) being the high performance summer then high performance all season and so forth.. the farther you go in the pages the more standard of a tire.. hes the link

Are you sure about that 6.0 thing? I took a ruler to them and at most across it comes out to 5.5...maybe a weird measuring thing or something? Just want to double check so I don't end up with the wrong tires. Thanks for the replies.
Edit: I just looked and saw a conversion table on tire rack. It showed the 6.00-15 could be replaced by the 205/60r15, but that would only come out to 24.7, so I think I'll try the size you said, worse case scenario I'll throw 'em on my brother's car if they don't fit.
