what size tires?

What size tires should i buy for drag lights 28 or 26 tall tire for 3.90 gears,turbo400 trans,on a 408 with 150 shot.Track only car 1/8 mile mostly

Realistically, 28's will hook better, but they will me MUCH harder to get to fit under an F-body.

Your going to have to roll the fender lips, BFH inner fender wells, and torch off the bumpstops for the 28's to fit.

Also, I don't know if the draglites are on the car already, but you have to grind the brake calipers for those to fit.

thanks for the info,How will the 26" with my 3.90 gears benefit or hurt me? and will i run out of gear in the 1/4?

People run 4.11's with 28's.

You will be fine.

thanks one more question, goodyear, hoosier, mt slicks which are the best slicks? for as hooking and lasting the most runs.

I'd say either MT or Hoosier when it comes to slicks.
