Default 15 inch drag wheel clarification...

ok...i've always run 255/60/15 et streets on the stockers(2000 T/A)....wanting to upgrade. Here are the questions....

-I want 15X10's(prostars, centerlines etc etc.) in the back...do I absolutely need a 7.5 BS? Is there any other alternative?

-I know its repetitive....but I would settle for some 275's on the 15X10's...how much bigger can I go?

-is there anything else needed except grinding down the calipers/massaging fenderwell for a set of prostars?....

I've searched/browsed but would like a full explanation..but help and input is appreciated...

they have to be 7.5" BS for a 10" wide rim.. no other choice unless you narrow your rearend or you don't care if the wheels stick way out.

275's is what you would run on an 8" wide rim. You can go with 325/50 28" tall tire on a 10" wide rim if you wanted you would just have a lot of BFH mods.
