ooopppss need help with these rim 
hey i bought a set of 4 18x8.5 BLACK Chrome C6 Motorsport Style Replica Corvette rims, didnt realise the 8.5 part till later how much will that affect my traction or will it affect it in any way? i feel like an idot now for not lookin at that... should i return them?

how much will it affect it though? bcuz i was gonna put slicks on my original tires so when i take it to the track... but with these 8.5 how will drivablity be affected? or better yet traction?

You essentially have new but OEM sized rims, aside from them being 18's. Naturally a wider rim for a wider tire will grab better at the track. I suggest returning two of them if you can, specifying that you would like to go wider in the back. This way you get to have more rubber, the dealer you purchased them from will still have a sale and everyone is happy.

yea i am tryin to do that now, see i got them from ebay but he also got this set of 18x9.5 for the rear and 17x8.5 for the front for about the same price so i am see what happens u think that combination is better?
