Default Storing Summer wheels & tires.

I am getting winter tires and taking off my Summer wheels & tires. What are some suggestions for storing them till next Spring?

to keep them from dry rotting just keep in a storage maybe in trash bags and lay them on the backs. i also stole a blanket from uhaul to put underneath them. that way i wouldnt have run out anywhere on the tire.

Also, try and keep them away from sources of ozone (electric motors, etc.), and definitely keep them from freezing!! (This hardens/heat cycles/changes the molecular structure of, the nice sticky summer compound, rendering it much less effective when you reinstall them in the spring.)

Mine are on a shelf in the garage. Winter tires reside there in the summer and summer tires reside there in the winter. I think it is better to keep them off of the concrete or at least put down a barrier so they do not dry rot or anything.

Nice! Those would be good for Power Tour since I have DR's on the back of both Camaro's. Would make a swap to a treaded tire easy if it was raining like it did most of the time this year.
