Do your center caps squeak?
Do your center caps squeak? Like the title says, I want to know how many people have center caps that squeak.
My 17x9.5 Z06 Replicas have one center cap that squeaks, no matter which wheel I put it on. Is there a remedy for this besides getting another center cap?
I'm cheap, and don't want to have to buy anything wheel/tire related until I get my Prostars.

Sorry for not being more descriptive...
Mine squeak when moving along slowly, as in the staging lanes, or a parking lot. I know that it's the center cap, because when I move the cap by hand, it makes the same exact noise, like a wheel that needs grease. When I take the cap off, however, the noise completely goes away, like there's just enough play between the wheel and the center cap to allow movement.
There, that ought to be descriptive enough. Anyone else have the same issue?

I used to have that problem with my LT1's Y2k vette wheels and just replaced the center cap. One of the little clips that it has that clings on to the wheel from the inside was kinda broken or bent. Or just put some silicone along the inside edge of the cap so that it doesn't have any movement.

I'm gonna get some clear silicone sealant and put some where the cap contacts the wheel (on the inside), let it dry, and then see what it does.
I have no clips really, the cap kinda press-fits... but I think your idea just might work.
