Found these on ebay. I would say it's a very good deal if they don't go much higher in price. But 45% sidewall probably wouldn't fit on our rear? Anyone know what the highest sidewall we can get away with, with no major modifications like fender rolling?

I ran 295/35-18's on a stock 95 TA. They rubbed just a hair, but not enough to make any marks or get me worried. The 45 sidewall would look out of place on an f-body. wait for the 35 sidewall if you want a 295 wide.
As a matter of fact, yes, they do fit. But only in the back, I wouldn't try the front, it'd rub a lot, and would make the car look a little 4x4ish. Took nothing more than the standard BFH for 295-315s. The plus/minus is that the added sidewall height acts like a lower gearing; They take a bit more power to turn over than a lower profile... but I can spray at the top of second from a roll at 4500 and hook.
If you know anything about the notion of different tire heights for dragin', it works on the same principles. The price of Toyo's doesn't hurt either, 2 tires for less than the cost of 1 Goodyear...
