is this a defective tire? hey guys i have a question. i have chrome zr1's with 275/40/17 falken fk451 tires and my problem is that the inside of the drivers side thread its like every other thread block is worn out but the thread block right after it is fine the the next one is worn and so on and its like this the whole way around the outside is fine. and the tires seem to be cuping outward like the middle of the tire is pushed out more that the sides. are they just crap tires or what? i know my alignment is a little off but not by that much. i have a newset of nitto drags on the back so i might just get a new set of tires for the front.

Sounds like a combo bad shock and out of alignment.
If it was a shifted belt or something like that there would be a large patch that is completely bald, not cupping like what you have. Or the tire would be bulging at the part that is shifted or broken.

well i ahve a newer set of bilstien hd's that only have about 6-8k on them. car rides good and handles good and only way i know theres a problem is that the tire is very loud and it vibrates. im swaping that tire for a spare one i got from the back and ill see if it helps then ill take it to the suspention shop that does all my work. i have always had problems with these tires since i got them. falken sucks
