how do I get the rim off ???
my rear driver's side tire has a slow leak so I brought it to Tires Plus to have it fixed, the mechanic asked if I had the lug nut tool to get one of them off being that it was a special sized to deter theft. He lowered the car off the lift and I went home to search..I DON'T have the tool so what do I do to get it off? TIA

Go into the trunk, have a penney at hand. Look to the right and look at the inner side panel to locate 2 or 3 plastic screws. Ue the penny to unscrew them. Under the panel you will find a jack, spare tire, and a tool to remove th lug nut.

yeah the bar is there to get the "normal" lug nuts off but one on each wheel are rounded for the first inch and a half or so and then is a weird pattern with slits..it requires something different..is this NOT factory? did this guy put like "gorilla" lug nuts on there or something or some aftermarket special theft deterrent kind?

Did you check your center console or glove box there should be a special socket for them somewhere in the car.
thats correct. my car didnt come with one either though. it was a ******* pain i just broke them all off and dont run locks anymore, if someone wants your wheels that bad - they are going to get them.

Those are locking lugs, you shoud have a key somewhere, normally in the glove box. It has the matching male pattern to go into round lug then it has the actual hex shape on it.
