Default why do most go with TT2s over TTMs?

Why do I see most like the tTT!!s instead of the TTMs?

I like the fact that the Ms come in chrome and would be easier for me to clean. Also they have a straight lip.

How hard is it to maintan the polished rims? I have polisheed on my truck and they suck. I can't get them clean anymore.

With hte 10.5 TTMs I can still run the 315s so why is it that so many people go with the IIs? Am I missing something?

personally I think the TTM's look like they belong on a mustang. The TTII's have more appeal when they are put on an F-body. Look at a factory Mustang GT wheel and compare it to a TTM.

polished wheels look kick *** when they are clean...as long as you clean them fairly regular it shouldnt be a problem keeping them looking nice.

Personally I think the M's look like ****. The lip makes them look VERY cheap.

True, I dont think a polished wheel is good for a dd. The lips on my tt2's look like chrome.

Default Torq Thrust

I love the deep lip on the II's

If you're worried about maintenance with the polished finished, just have
the centers powdercoated

I like the stepped lip and the more muscular appearance of the II's.

The reason I purchased TTIIs is I love rims with large stepped lips. Like said above it makes it look so much more muscular. But on the other hand I like the fact that the M's are chromed and you dont have to clean them once a week. I just wish AR would have come out with a TTII rim that was fully chromed but, I was thinking about painting my spokes gunmetal.

yeah it really gives the f-body cars an old school look that only an f-body can pull off in my opinion.

definitely go black bro if you go this route.... I have pics of a ta with powder coated 2's and it looks sick! That is why I picked black for mine with the polished lip. I would not buy the TT's all polished. Just a hassle to maintain and my car is a DD (4now)

I agree with all the above. My buddy has a set of black center/ polished lip TTM on his WS6- they look pretty good....but I still like my Gray TT2s better.

You can get TT2's in chrome...but they are like 100 bucks more per wheel.

Black powder coated TTII's are the best possible combo no doubt, but Black TTM''s are right up there with them (especially since you dont have to pay to get them coated)

Yes the same wheels come on Mustangs, but this style wheel has been around for 40 yrs. Ford pays AR to use the wheels on their cars, its not like its an exclusive Ford produced product (plus I believe Mustangs dont come with wheels with a lip). Also, hate to break it to all you TTII guys but the last time I checked the styling of the TTII's and TTM's are pretty damn close.

Bottom line, I love my black TTM's and when I see a Mustang with the same rims I dont act like a baby and get up-set over it.
