semi mis matched wheels ?

semi mis matched wheels ? After a wonderful hit and run a while ago, bad enough to BEND a wheel, I've been thinking what might, just maybe look nifty is swapping mis matching the wheels, well the color.
I have a black z28 and it was on chrome zr1s, a bit common but I like it still. I've also always loved the look of the sliver polished ones.
Has anyone ever done different finishes on the same wheel before with pics?
I can't 'chop to save my life and this is one of those, I'm bored ideas so feel free to mock away lol.

I'd love to help you out, but I'm having a hard time sorting this sentence out. Please clarify what you're wanting to do. Are you just wanting to get different color wheels, but the same design?
Do a search for say "black ZR1 pics", "silver ZR1 pics," and then again for "gunmetal ZR1 pics." Those are the only other colors I've ever seen ZR1s in unless you count white, which is not easy to find.
You'll probably find eleventy billion threads, but it shouldn't take long to find a pic of a black Z28 with those wheels (if the search is working today).

I've done that, I just have not seen anyone with different finishes on them.
Being I have zr1s and plan on replacing the wheel I had damaged I'd like to see them most, but it would intrest me to see if anyone else had different finishes on the wheels.
For some reason I don't think it would look too tacky.
The idea of the polished front and chrome rear is kind of tempting me. I just wondered if anyones done or seen it done.

Wait, now I think I'm getting it. You're talking about a different finish on the front versus the rear? I thought you were wanting to switch all 4 wheels entirely.
I don't think it would look very good to have them different front to back. Even chrome and polished would still look a little different. I suppose if you had to, you could just run all polished on one side and all chrome on the other. That way, at least you wouldn't be able to see the two different finishes at the same time.
