Help! Can I fix this? I recently got Z06 rims for my Z28. They are 18x9.5 with a +56mm offset. The rims are beautiful but they do not fit the back as well as I would like them to. Is there any way to get them more flush to the fender? Is there an adaptor I can use that will bring them out an inch or so?
I was just looking at some before/after pics of the stock rims and the new ones and the stock rims were actually further in so I don't feel too bad. oh well

Re: Help! Can I fix this? There are a couple ways you could go about it. I personally think f-bods look better with the wheels flush or even sticking out a little. Actually, im going to pick up my boyd coddington smoothie 2's in 30 minutes. But before I did that i bought mr gasket wheel spacers. Theyre cast and were only 20 bucks. the only thing is that the stick studs arent long enough to get a lug on em. So you could try changing the studs and then use a spacer. However, cast spacers arent really that strong and you could break something. Try and find a forged spacer. Other than this i guess youre SOL. Sell that back ones...buy new ones with a 38mm offset. thatll get em out there a bit more.
