Wheels for narrowed 2.5" Rear
Wheels for narrowed 2.5" Rear What choice of wheels do I have that I can use on the street for a rear narrowed 2.5" on each side? Im thinking a 5" backspacing is what I need.
Noo don't do it. I narrowed mine 3' each side and it was hell getting everything fabricated but it looks good though. If I had it all over again I would have gotten mine 1.5' on each side. Anyway I got 15x10 prostars on mine with 4.5 bs. 4' bs would have been perfect. I think 5' would be good or 4.5 maybe. On a 10' rim on a factory stock length 10 bolt the bs is 7.5' so 5 would just about be right. Get ready to do some grinding.
Iam happy with my end result the only bad thing is unless you are buying drag rims you are going to have to buy forged custom rims$$$$$$$$$. I plan on buying some iforged in the future. Is this the look your looking for

Yes, it appears you will need 5" backspacing (10" wide) wheels for that narrowed axle. I really dig the look. Here is my previous Formula, it was narrowed 2" on each side of the axle and the rear wheels were 15x10 with 5.5" BS.
