Default Sorry to make a thread for this...

I'm looking at a set of wheels that are 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear. Not sure of the backspacing, but they have a +35mm offset. Will that work on an LS1 F-Body? The reason I ask is b/c the sticky at the top of this section gives a list of offsets and stuff, and it says nothing about a +35mm offset. I don't want a "skateboard" look, or to have tires rubbing on the part of the car you can see, that would suck, especially after paying to put tires on 19" wheels!

Is it a camaro or a firebird? makes a little diffrence. I ran a 17x11 with 36.5 offset and it worked they just stuck out a bit around a 1/2 inch on my z28....This was my race tire set up.

It's a Camaro. The wheels are only 8.5 & 9.5 inches wide, too, so does that mean that they prob. wouldn't stick out, if 11's only stuck out by .5"? Also the car is lowered a little bit on Eibach ProKit springs. This is the reason I don't want them to stick out, b/c if they do, they'll have rubbing issures.

I have the same set up but mine are 18's w/35mm offset and they work and look fine but you may want to roll the lip on the quarters since your car is lowered. JMO

Well, I don't guess it matters now anyway. The 19's I was looking at were black and I've decided that's not the best color wheel for my car b/c it's white. Besides, the car already has polished TTII's, and they look darn good when it's clean. That money would probably be better spent elsewhere.

you can do 18's and 20's for cheeper than 19's all the way around.......do some reaserch on this.......you will go through tires fast because face it we didnt buy these cars for gas mileage so you will be replacing tires....lol
let me know what you decide
