20" wheels, performance?

20" wheels, performance?

Just looking for opinions. Are 20" wheels getto looking on a Camaro. I have ground effects but it's not lowered. Will wheels that large decrease performance, or will the tires just be super expensive. Probably going to go with Z06 wheels, but decided to entertain the idea of 19's or 20's. Thanks for your time.

Depends on the wheel. If you get a real nice 3 piece wheel it can end up looking awesome, take trilogyz28 for example. But if you get some ghetto wheel like this....

it will look crappy!

Call them ghetto if you like, but Trilogy's ride looks sweet! They can be ghetto. They can look nice too. Performance is out the window with 20's.

Its up to what kind of performance you want. Road racing with high speed turns, big wheel low profile tire work best. If you are looking to drag race 20's are out of the question.
