285/40/18

Will this tire size work on our F-Bodies?

People use it, but IMHO, it is too tall. A 285/35ZR18 is better and cloer to the OEM overall diameter of the tire. 275/35ZR18 matched OEM overall diamter. FYI.

Do you have pics n=know where I can see it because I was thinking about going 275/40/18 all around but I wanted a lil wider tire in the rear.

go with the 35 series as stated above. 285 40 18 will be too tall and will make your fbody look like a 4x4 imo. not to mention, you may have rubbing issues in the front
