Default now im confused

ok so i just ordered a pair of black c6 z06 rims 18x9.5 all around. i was told by my shop that i can fit a 315 on them although it isn't recommended. i was planning on just running 305 35 18's in the back.. i know it will fit but what will be the downsides of doin this?? what is the widest wheel you guys go with with a 9.5 width? this is the link....

NO. 285/35ZR18 MAXIMUN. 275/35ZR18 is your best bet. Any tire shop saying other wise is lieing to you.

295's are for 10.5"

Cobras come stock with 9" rims. The 315's you see are on 10.5 inch factory replicas. Having had a lot of different wheels, . . . .

I guess youre just going to ignore Xsta Z 28's advice. 285 should be the max. If you really want wide tires, buy a rim to fit them on.

I can see you are going to do what ever you want . .

BUT . . . AGAIN. 285/35ZR18 is the BIGGEST you should go. period end of discussion. . .

A square peg WILL fit in a round hole, you just need to hit it hard enough.
