Please help me with tire/rim size
Please help me with tire/rim size I'm almost positive I'm getting c6 z06s. I want them in 10" but pretty sure no one makes that. Anyone know? So i can't decide between 10.5 and 9.5. I want 9.5 cuz I like the tire to overlap the rim and I doubt a 285 tire will overlap a 10.5 rim. I don't want to go any bigger cuz the tire prices get insane any bigger than 285. I can get sumitomos in 285 for like 139 or something. Then I plan on adding a cam/stall later and so idk if i'm going to hook with sumitomos. I'm really in a bind when it comes to decisions. I was thinking maybe 19" in the rear and 18 in the front, but not sure how that will look so it might just be 18's.

Sounds like you've got your mind made up already,...get the wheels your talking about wanting in the size you want. Simple as that. I got 17x11s ZR1s in the rear of my car,...for thinking that i'd like to be able to hook but your right...Sumitomo's dont with any kind of power, believe me. A healthy size stall + a big cam like i've got,...and tires are toast. But hell, if I wanna get serious with someone I've got the set of Pro Stars with M/T ET Drags also I can bolt on. Oh and dont forget about the rotating mass and weight of those wheels your choosing also,...17's bad enough that I have,...your going 18's,....and thinking about 19's. Just my 2 cents
I was thinking about 275 all around or maybe 285's for rotating purposes...but i seem to really roast the rears already and i only got headers, exhaust, and a lid. That's one part I really enjoy too, so maybe I should get an extra set of z06s for the rear and i could just swap them out when i needed to....thats a bit of extra money though....hmmm. I need to figure out what i really want. Looking at KDW's what u think of them for a DR?
