Cleaning Zr1

Cleaning Zr1 I just got a set of 17x9.5 chrome zr1's for christmas. just wondering what i should use to clean them, and looking brand new. My dad said use our special airplane/boat wax which i use on the car, its an insulator wax No. 845. Also what tires do you think i should get, i live in Fl so i need an all around perf. tire. Im thinking about the Nittos Nt555 but my dad says i would be better off with the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW. I thought i would ask some f-body guys to see what they use.

As for the tires i would recommend BFG G-force T/A's I have them on my mounted on my TT2's and they are great! Good ride, Good wear, and look good too lol. This stuff is the best. I works great on my TT2's and those wheels SUCK cleaning. You can ask anyone with them lol. Hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

I used to use Windex and Blue Magic polish to clean up my ZR1s. As for the tires, I can speak from experience that the NT555's never really gave me any traction at the track - go with the BFG's.
