I just got a set of chrome Zr1s for my 1998 z. They are 17x9.5. i know the SS came with these and the tire size was 275/40zr/17. My buddy has a 10.5inch wide rim on his car and only runs a 265 tire. Should i run the stock tire size for a SS or no because they are replica Zr1s

yea stick with the 275/40/17, the replicas are actually .5" wider that factory ZR-1's

 

275/40ZR17 is the PERFECT tire for a 9" to 9.5" wheel. A 10.5" wheel should be running at least a 295 . . . .

 

^^yeah a 265 is wayyyy too small for a 10.5 inch wheel. i ran 275's on my ss wheels and it was perfect
