wheel polish?

is it ok to use wheel polish such as mothers or eagle one on powdercoated wheels to shine them up better or will it damage the paint?

Treat a powdercoated surface just like you would any painted surface. In other words the wheel polish is not a good idea, it's too aggresssive, will leave little scratches. Use a fine 3m polish/hand glaze. They have one called small scratch filler that works on "road weary" wheel surfaces.

I was thinking someone maybe mothers was making a powder coated/clear coated wheel polish.

i was going to ask a similar question. so i'll just post in here if it's fine. since i just recieved my american racing TTM's what kind of wheel cleaner should i use to keep them protected. so far i've only washed my car twice and both times i just sprayed them off with water and them wiped them down with a microfiber cloth. i've seen some rim wax and other things that are supposedly good. what if any should i be using?

Only use products you'd feel comfortable using on the paint of your car . . .

i used to use zep 5 star chrome/aluminum polish. We use it on our race cars at work works like magic, you can shine anything up with it stuff is great
