Default Finally after 3yrs....

I got a set of wheels. I didn't go all out & drop alot of money for my first set. I'd definetly like a set of CCW later down the road. These are stock GM stamped Y2K C5 wheels. I only gave $400 for them with tires, so it was a very hard deal to pass up. They are 17x8 up front & 18x9.5 out back.

After seeing a pic of another members car I couldn't resist giving this look a shot. This members car is the ONLY other car done like this I have ever seen, so I know without a doubt no one in my area will have the same wheel appearance as me. And that was very important in my decision b/c everyone around here has all the other wheels I like for these cars & I wanted to be different. So before the wheels go on they have to get polished some more with a powerball, zoop sealed, masked & painted.

Here is a pic of the wheels as they are now. Tires are in great shape too. (I'm gonna get new plain center caps too)

Here is a pic of my car they will be goin on.(don't mind my crappy tips, I have new ones now)

And here is how they will look after paint.

Great deal! But what about the centers, are you going to leave them polished?

Man I can't decide. I kinda like the cap the way it is in the pic above cause it breaks up the black a little more, but I'm still on the fence.

LOL, I abused the hell outta them after i got em' from ya.

And yea, the WS6 wheels look ok, but they don't show enough caliper & rotor for me. I like the thinner spokes these wheels have.

Paint the centers black, and use chrome lug nuts. That would look killer!

Paint the cap, but leave the flags red so it'll go with the red calipers. I like the scheme but the center cap just doesnt do for me.

That's what it looks like, couldn't quite put my finger on it.

I say paint the centers or leave em as is. I've always liked the thin spokes.
