wheel gurus help me out here i bought a new daily driver...an 86 cavalier 2.0 5 speed 4 door...my friend has a set of stock 97 z28 wheels sittin around and we were thinking about puttin on the CAV, anyone know if they will fit. we figured we'd post up first before we spend the time and effort in the 332984733 degree heat down here to find out the hard way. doing so should help handling as well...(it handles like ****)

Re: wheel gurus help me out here no, bolt pattern is wrong for 1... 5x100 for cav, and 5x4.75 (5x120.65) for camaro... plus an 8" wide wheel wouldn't fit anyway... its a popular size tho, as all smaller fwd gm's and chryslers use 5x100, so finding bigger wheels should be easy... 15x7 with a 205/60x15(24.7"), or 225/50x15(23.9") would be good and wide... or a 16x7 with a 205/50x16(24.1"), or 205/55x16(24.9")... depending on what size it came with standard...
