c5 wagon wheels

i have the c5 wheels on my 2001 TA. 17 fronts 18 on back. right now my backs are 260/35/18s i really need some wider tires. bad. i only have headers/intake./exhaust but i loose traction in 1st or 2nd if i go wot once it gets into the peak rpms. ive seen some 315/30/18 tires on tireracks but have no clue if they would hit or rub. if those would be to big for 18's should go with say a 295 range? this is more daily driving. i have old LT1 rims with ET streets so i dont need dragtires.

Do you know how wide the rear wheels are?

You're going to need an 11" wide wheel to fit 315's

i think those wheels are 10' wide in the back

ah didnt know

their the stock rims from a c5 vette 2001 same year as my ta

got them for free then painted them black with about 20 coats

and they still are lighter than stock polsiedh 16inch TA rims. i didnt belive it till i put them on scales and my 18" with tires are lighters than the stock TA rims at 16" by about 1lbs

anyhow if they are 10" wide on the back what would yall recommend?
