Wheel Options
Wheel Options I am looking for some openions on wheels. I am on a TIGHT budget, but I need something wider. I know it may not be popular, but I am trying to build a "Poor mans" version of the Dick Harrell car. I am going to widen my fenders & quarters 2". (Making the body of the car 4" wider). I am looking for a wheel / tire combo that will sit flush with the new wheelwell placement. It would need to be a "deep dish" type wheel 12" wide in the back & 10" wide for the front. I was able to find a racing wheel that fits my criteria for about $165ea, it is a Diamond Racing wheel (nascar style). It is available in my specified widths, offset, and 16" diameter to clear my calipers. They are available in silver or black powdercoated. Let me know which you think would look better on my car, or if you have any alternate ideas, I am open. Also let me know if you think I am a toal tool for doing this.

Oh yea, good luck with the widening of the fenders and quarters, I hope you have a bodywork hook up...I can't remember what site, might even be this one someone was doing the same mods
