Chrome lug nut covers SLP?
Chrome lug nut covers SLP? I have a set of ZR1's from SLP and I cracked 2 of my chrome covers when I was screwing them on. I have a stupid question. Do you guys just hand tighten these on or so you use a rachet and just snug them up? I was using a rachet and thought I was just snugging them up but they cracked. I was wondering if they were made to be tightened up like that.
I have them right now but they are about to get thrown away for some real lugs. I hate those ******* plastic covers and still don't understand why SLP would have opted for those in the first place.

THROW them in the trash and never look back. Just get Gorilla chrome lug nuts and a set of chrome Gorilla locking lug nuts and you're set.
Thunder Racing is the only sponsor I know of that sells them. Before Thunder Racing sold them I'd get them from Discount Tire, and they're a little more expensive at Discount Tire.
