I need some more traction...
I currently have Z06 take off rims (17X9.5 front and 18X10.5 rear) with Goodyear F1 supercars (265/45ZR17 and 295/35ZR18). They work really well as far as getting around the corners (handle really well), but the rear tires just don't have enough traction for my power level (I just spin in 1st and 2nd).
As I take off from a light, I just sit there and spin, and I can't give much power out of the corners either.
Anyone have any suggestions of a better tire I could go with (wider and/or stickier) that will still have a "good" lifespan....
thanks guys....

BTW, I replied in the roadracing section too... goodluck!

That’s why 15" rim tires (if they are wide and somewhat soft) hook better.....if you watch them on slow motion cameras, the sidewall wraps up......kind of cool
