Default 35th aniv. center caps

Do you guys know of 35th anniversary center caps are aluminum or plastic?

i'm trying to find stock '01 center caps (or something that would fit) and i'd like to get them powder coated...but plastic would melt.

Any ideas? are the 'Vette centers chromed plastic too??

when i bought my 35ths, he told me that at one point he lost a centercap, and it wasnt cheap to replace

just a heads up, it sounds like the 35th caps can be expensive...

The "body" is plastic, with a brushed metal face.
