Default how low should i go???

ok i've just ordered 19x9.5 ruff 278's with 275/30 vredesain tires i can't wait, but my car is goin to look like a 4x4 so i'm goin to drop it. i drive ALOT and my 98 TA they're goin on is my DD.

for those of you who have a similar setup how much did you drop your and what brand did you use? i'd like to up my handling w/o and don't mind the ride being rough as long as i'm not bet 2 death. i was thinking of goin with strano...?

pics and suggestions would be awesome so ***** out your sexy **** car 2 me!

oh, and all 4 have a 45mm offset

I just ordered my 278's yesterday... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the 45mm offset is not going to clear the brake calipers up front. You might want to see if you can change your order.

I have Eibach Sportlines on my car, and I wouldn't want to go any lower than that...

i have had both eibachs and i can say that the lower you go makes it look cool but the hell with scraping every damn time you pull in to a parking lot or hit a high spot on the road.....and its even worse when you have longtubes cause i ruined a set up $700 headers from this..... i say lower it no more than 2 inches

i'm getting 19's and they're guaranteed to fit... that thread was about 18's i'm pretty sure it's enough of an angle difference to clear them
