with my tires being 255/45 17 how big of a differance sizewise since my car is lowered 1 1/2 inches.

I just put Nitto 555's on the rear of my T\A 275\40\17's and they hook alot better than the Kumho's I had before, my car use to blow em off in first with the kumho's now they hardly spin at all, my car is a stock A4 2.73 rear turd though. I think the tred pattern looks good too. Think I paid 250 mount and balanced for the rears

I'm extremely happy with my Firestone Firehawk WideOvals. Just don't drive them in any kind of snow. 0 traction in the winter. But in the dry and wet they beat the GForce KDW. Look at the tirerack tests. Not the surveys.

Well whatever you do don't get ZRi's friend had them and couldn't hook up till fourth on a bone stock 96 Z. I have BFG KDWS and love them but they discontinued them and i was luckey to get some. I would get the KDW II's and do 275 rear/255 front.

accully stick with 255 all the way around i guess that may look out of place slightly.

Default F1 Gs D3

I had the F1 GS D3 tire for a while. They are really good in warm weather, and in the rain as well, but if it gets cold just a little bit, like 50 deg or lower, even on dry roads they are worthless. Not good for year around imo, unless you live in FL. Granted our cars are not intended for heavy winter driving, but it's nice to have SOME versatility with weather.

I have the Kumho Escta's and they seem really great. Excellent dry traction (car doesn't see rain), and they look great.

i have heard that kumho's have bad traction when new until they get to about half tread then they sook up good and from there they start to get worse again.
