the m/t street radials hook like no other. The nitto's arent bad either, you just have to get them very hot to get em to stick. I currently have BFG DR's on my car, and cant yet decide if im happy with them or not. I just put them on, and I can still easily rip first and second gear. (heads/cam car) But it is also only mid 40's to low 50's here right now, so will see what they hook like when it warms up abit more.

I think the OP means to say MT drag radials. Honestly, only you can decide whether you want to sacrifice tread life for traction. The MT dr's WILL hook much better than the Nitto's. I've used both and there's no comparison between the two regarding traction.

i'd pick the mickey thompson but the nittos dead hook on our 500rwhp cobra.... i highly doubt anyone who says nittos suck are talking about nt01's but 555r's. the nt01's hook alot better than the 55 5r's. they will last longer than the mickeyt's. if you want a street car get the nittos and if do alot of track then the mt's
