Quick Tire Question
Quick Tire Question I'm ordering a set of ET Streets for the track that won't even be driven to the track, just raced. I want the drag version, not the radials, but am not sure whether to go with the 26 x 10.5 x 16 or the 26 x 11.5 x 16 version. The wheels are stock size 16" wheels (16 x 9 I believe???).
I want big traction as I plan on 5-6k clutch dumps with about 400rwhp through 4.10s and the steeper gears from a GTO trans, but don't want to have to modify anything on the car (wheels wells, etc). Your thoughts?
PS - I know 15" would have been better, but these extra wheels were free and smaller than the 17s I drive around on, so I took them. They will be strictly track wheels/tires.
