Default Drag Radials on Stock Wheels

I was lookin to get some DR's to put on my stock WS.6 Rims. Is the width going to really make a big enough difference for me to get 315's? I know all of you are gonna be givin the lecture that you cant put 315's on a 9.5" wheel blah blah blah....ive seen it done a million times and nobody has had any problems. These are gonna be for the track only...so there will be no cornering or hard bumps. I just wanna know if it would be worth it for me to get the wider.

the only 315 run on a 9.5 is nitto..guys on the svt forums say its alright but yah never know, they're the smallest 315. run m/t radial or m&h makes a 325 50 17 28" tall too.

I used 315/35/17 Nittos for daily/track use without any problems.
