which tire size?
i'd go ahead and lower the car since stock height tires on a stock height car looks horribly high. but going from a 275 to a 285 is not going to look much different or any at all.

for the street or drag strip, this may be true (and i would agree), but for auto-x/road racing, HUGE gains can be had by going larger up front....some people even go up to a 315 up front. even so, most people will notice more gain from changing from street tires to an R-compound, even if they're the same size, and in some cases, even if the R-compounds are smaller. but 315-width R-compounds on all 4 corners would just be SICK.
