Nitto DRs Backordered Everywhere- I have been looking for Nitto 555r 315/35 17 for a few weeks, Discount Direct first said it would be a couple weeks, now they are saying maybe end of the summer- Discount stores say the same-
Any Sponsors have anything in stock? I drive allot on the street, allot of 180 mile freeway runs- So all the other DRs are out as far as I know-
I will be ~450rwhp plus spray so I need something thats gonna hook (not too well, need this rear to last a couple months)

Damn this sucks- I really dont want to go 275- From what I understand with nittos running small anyway that would really suck on my wider rim-
Plus my fronts being a normal 275 and the rears being nitto 275 That just wouldnt look right-

I heard a guy saying that because of the war, the government is mandating that there tires be produced first and that specialty tires like DR and slicks are being cut back to be able to supply the gov. demand.
yeah, I just ordered a set from Discount Tire and have to wait 3-4 weeks. Figures as soon as I need a new set they are on national backorder. Because Nittos run narrow is the very reason I like them, I'm lowered and don't have to roll my fenders or BFH my wheel wells. They fit perfect.
Hey I thing pretty much everything these days is on B/O as I have had a set of TTMs on order from Tom for over 3 weeks and AR still doesn't have an estimated date. It could be August before I see my rims. Guess I'm gonna go ahead and order my Nittos so they have plenty of time to arrive.
FYI - Just spoke to my friend over at Discount here in Houston, and the Texas warehouse for discount has over 44 pairs of Nitto 555r's in stock (315 35R-17) if anyone is looking for them. I went ahead and had him get a pair as who knows what will be available when my rims finally come in?
