Anyone running 26" Goodyear drag frontrunners, or Moroso's, or any other drag skinny on the street occasionally, or even regularly? How are they holding up and which one wears the best? Anyone in the know. Thanks. WJ.

I wouldn't recommend it.
1. There is hardly any tread
2. They aren't steel belted - easy to pop, which makes them easier to lose control and crash
3. not very good for taking turns of any kind
Just put some 165r15 steel belted radials on there and be done with it.

Wish it were that easy, Tony. I'm now running 15x4 Convo-Pro's w/Star metric 165x15 metric radials. I cannot balance this combo. Have tried 3 different reputable tire shops, 3 different times. These tires "hop" between 65 and 85 mph--just can't stop it. After 85 they smooth out a little, but I can still feel that they're out of balance. Can anyone reccommend a decent 165x15 radial frontrunner? I'm about to toss these Star's. They really suck. I want radials--no bias M/T Sportsmans. Anyone? Thanks. WJ.

I've always used "Monarch Metric" type 165s and have had no problem. Discount Tire can order them for you, they aren't a line normally carried by them. They are also good because they hold more PSI than the other tires that size.
Kuhmos seem to work okay also, but don't hold the higher PSI.

No John, I do want radial fronts--not bias ply tires. I'll see what I can find out about the Monarch's that Tony mentioned...Thanks to you both for the reply. WJ.
