Wheel/ Tire Questions... OK. I'm about to make the plunge over to 15X8's and 15X4's. I'm thinking of going with a Nitto DR 275-50-15, but I don't know if I'll make it to the end of the track. The OD is 25.8" and I have a 4.30 gear. My redline is 6600. My last trip to the track- I trapped ~118mph with stock gearing. I don't know how much that will drop with the 4.30. The gear calc says that with a 275-50-15 I can do 118mph in 4th.
I don't like the way the 275-60-15 (28" OD) looks- this is why I want a 275-50.
Also, what is the front runnner tire size for a 15X4 rim?
I want the weld Rodlite wheels. I've heard that they sometimes don't clear the brakes.
Who has good price on this setup?
