Default 285?

I have done quite a bit of searching, and I have not found a concrete answer. Can I run a 285/40zr17 on the front of an 02 ss Camaro? Oh year forgot to mention I do not want to have any clearance issues or trimming to make them fit, since the car only has 1600 miles, and I want it to remain stock.

Thanks

I forgot to mention, I am getting new rims that r 17x9.5. Will this make any difference in fitting the wheels without rubbing?

as long as your new wheels have the correct offset for your car you should be fine with running 285's in the front without any issues.
