Default rear TTii's install question

ok i have 18x10 rear torque thrust's, i was reading a thread earlier in here and they mentioned that they removed the brake retaining washer? that holds the rotor back i think. do i need to take my wheels back off and take these off?

You need to take the wheels off to remove the retaining washer, but its not going to make a difference if its on there or not.
