I have a 99 LS1 Formula, and I'm in the market to buy 4 new street tires, my tire size is 245 16's. I'm making 327 rear-wheel horsepower and 343 ft lbs of torque, and I narrowed it down to 2 types of tires. Goodyear Eagle F1 gs-d3 or BF Goodrich G force sport. I have Goodyears now and I really like the tire because they seem to hook up good, but I was looking at the price of the BF Goodrich and they seem pretty cheap. I was wondering if anyone else runs these tires and can tell me if they hook up good and last a while or should I stick with Goodyear? Thank you.

I just recently bought a new set of the Goodyear GSD3 (stock T/A 16" tire size) and they are just incredible!! Yeah, expensive, but you get what you pay for with tires. I received a $50 rebate too which they seem to offer most of the time. Why risk disappointment? Not worth it.
