Just put on the Firehawks... Last night I picked up 4 17x9 Firehawk wheels in "ok" shape and this morning detailed the car and mounted them. This car is my DD so wheels that are "5 footers" are acceptable. Also my first time using a buffer (orbital). Can anybody recommend some tires for these? They're running 275/40's now and will have to be replaced in a few months or sooner. I like cornering grip but I don't need anything rated for over 130MPH (unless it has better traction that way).
P.S. There was a noticable slowdown after switching to these from 16x8 twisted 5-spoke TA wheels running 245/50 Riken tires (W-speed rated). I guess that's to be expected unless I get smaller or forged wheels...

Any more tire recommendations? The fronts have Firestone Firehawk SZ50EP's and the rears have Yokohama AVS ES100's. This car is my DD and I've been driving it in the past on 245/50/16 Riken Raptors.
Tint, sure... Don't really want to turn my car into an underpowered TA though... lol
I swapped out the hatch because when I got this car a few years ago, I thought the rear looked incredibly ugly on the V6's and just plain weird on the TA's. I tried a hatch swap and - personally, I love the results.
